Established in 1976 by the getting together of Rodney Thorpe and Roger Zeeman, Johannesburg Timber and Box has become a recognized leader in the industry and the largest manufacturer of wooden pallets in Gauteng.  We are well placed to supply pallets on a national basis as well as cross border to neighbouring countries.  Johannesburg Timber and Box has an impressive national client portfolio established on honesty and integrity and it has the ability to deliver on time, every time to the satisfaction of it's many long standing customers.

Johannesburg Timber & Box is well able to manufacture and supply pallets no matter how large the requirement.  We produce heavy duty, disposable and in house type pallets to client specifications.  In addition to calling on it's associate, Lowveld Lumber & Pallet, in Nelspruit, as a back-up, we have an association with several other pallet manufacturers situated around the country which enables us to supply pallets on a national basis.

A Heat Treatment Plant has been installed to heat treat pallets destined for export to meet the requirements of ISPM No 15 as set forth in the guidelines issued by the Department of Agriculture in Pretoria and our allocated certification mark for stamping on all such heat treated pallets is 'ZA-J01/HT'. These pallets will also be date stamped. The plant capacity was doubled from late 2006
